Elvira Pacheco Vieira

Elvira Pacheco Vieira holds a PhD in Applied Economics at the University of Santiago de Compostela, in 2007. Since 2012, is Dean of ISAG – European Business School, where she is also Principal Coordinating Professor and Member of the Technical-Scientific Council. Invited Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo - School of Business Sciences, since 2009. Integrated Member at the Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG) since 2010, and Collaborator Member at the Research Centre in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET - FCVC), since 2021. Coordinated the ISAG Research Centre (NIDISAG) between 2009 and 2021. Author of more than 140 publications in scientific journals with peer review, indexed in the various international databases. Published 12 book chapters and 3 books, with international distribution. Supervised 4 PhD theses and 25 master dissertations. Received the 1st Euroregion Research Award by the Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion Chair in 2008, regarding her PhD innovative research and important findings, about regional and cross-border development and Human Capital. Has participated as a researcher in 29 projects and has been the lead researcher on 15. Her current research areas are Economics, Management, Tourism, Marketing and Strategic Management, Market Research, Corporate Social Responsibility, Finances, Regional and Cross-border Development, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
