PhD in Economics from the University of Minho, with the thesis "research-based spin-offs: determinants of strategy and performance", Master in Industrial and Business Economics from the University of Minho and a degree in Economics from the University of Minho. Assistant Lecturer at the School of Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave since 2009. She was Guest Lecturer at the University of Minho between 2004 and 2010. Her research interests include entrepreneurship, innovation and its socio-economic effects; Knowledge transfer and innovation networks.
