Orlando Manuel Martins M. Lima Rua

Orlando Lima Rua holds a Habilitation and Management and a PhD in economics and Management. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Management at the Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP) of the Polytechnic of Porto (Portugal), since 2009. He is a researcher at the Center for Organizational and Social Studies (CEOS.PP) (Polytechnic of Porto – ISCAP), Research Center of Business Sciences (NECE) (University of Beira Interior- UBI), and Management Applied Research Unit (UNIAG) (Association of Polytechnic Institutes of Northern Portugal - APNOR). He participated in 17 international and national R&D projects (as a team member) and supervised four PhD thesis and several master students (over 50 master theses). Additionally, he participated in 153 academic juries (9 PhD theses, 42 master dissertations, 16 specialist titles, and 86 bachelor degree final theses). He published 234 publications (80 with indexing to JCR/Web of Science and/or Scopus databases) in peer-reviewed journals, communications at international scientific conferences, book chapters and books. His major research subjects are Entrepreneurial Orientation, Strategic Resources and Capabilities Open Innovation and Smart Cities.
