Nuno Adriano Baptista Ribeiro
Nuno Adriano Baptista Ribeiro teaches at School of Technology and Management (ESTiG), at Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) since 1998. Currently lecturing Public Sector Accounting, Public Audit, Financial Accounting. Research interests focus on Public Sector Accounting and Management, Public Finance on the Local Government. Researcher in Management Applied Research Unit (UNIAG), since 2017. Is main recent investigation touches issues such as the determining factors of indebtedness in Local Administration. Member of Program Board for some Scientific Committees of International Conferences and has collaborated as a reviewer with several journals. PhD in Economics and Business (Business and Economic Sciences School, Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain) in 2012. Author of national and international communications on Public Sector Accounting and Finance, specifically on local government. Co-author of the book “Balanced Scorecard Applied to Public Administration” (2007, Lisbon, Portugal: Publisher Team). Member of Program Board for some Scientific Committees of International Conferences and has collaborated as a reviewer with several journals. Awarded at “Luiz Chaves de Almeida” accounting prize in 1997, 1999 and 2010.
