Le Quyen Nguyen has more than 15 years of experience in the banking sector, research and higher education. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics (2004) and two master's degrees - one in Small and Medium Enterprise Development from the University of Leipzig, Germany (2010), and the other in Business Management from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal (2021). Nguyen previously worked as a researcher at the Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG) of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), where she participated in the BIOMA project. Her work involved assessing the impacts of new technologies on the financial, social and environmental performance of agri-food companies in northern Portugal. Earlier in her career, Nguyen spent more than a decade at the Bank of Foreign Trade of Vietnam where she took on positions of increasing responsibility, including credit risk management and senior internal auditor. Nguyen has two international research articles published in scientific journals. She is currently a PhD candidate in Tourism at University of Aveiro with a research grant funded by FCT and UNIAG. Her academic interests include Economics, Management and Forecast Modeling.
