Laurentina Cruz Vareiro, Coordinating Professor of Economics and Quality Coordinator in the School of Management, Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, Portugal. She has a PhD in Economics (2008) at the University of Minho. She is an integrated researcher at the Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG). Her research interests include regional, rural and urban economics, tourism economics, rural and cultural tourism.
