Joaquim Leite, PhD in Accounting (2015) from University of Minho (Braga – Portugal), is a Professor of Advanced Management Accounting, Management Control and Research Methodology at the Department of Business and Social Sciences, School of Technology and Management, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Bragança – Portugal). He was CEO of Bragança Hospital for 3 years, responsible for the Accounting, Planning and Management Control and Information Systems Departments. His main research areas include Accounting, Management Control Systems, Hospital Management and Institutional Theory. He is the coordinator of the Department of Business and Social Sciences and a member of the Applied Management Research Unit at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança.
