João P. Teixeira holds a PhD in Elect. and Comp. Eng. from the Univ. of Porto. He is a Coordinator Professor at IPB – Portugal, since 1995, in the areas of biomedical signal processing, electronics, and computer engineering. Is a member of Research Centers CeDRI and UNIAG. Published 2 scientific books, more than 150 scientific journal/conference papers related to AI applied to biological signals, namely EEG, ECG, EMG, and voice, speech signals (analysis, synthesis, and prosody), and time series forecasting. h-index in WoS=11.
