Joana Filipa Vaz Caetano holds an Integrated Master’s Degree in Dentistry from the University Institute of Health Sciences (CESPU) and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrated Pediatric Dentistry. She completed a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management, specializing in Public Management, at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. She is studying a PhD in Administration, Finance and the Welfare State at the University of Salamanca, conducting research in the field of Public Sector Administration and Management, with a particular focus on Local Government, public policy and the sustainability of the Welfare State. Her research interests focus on Public Sector Administration and Management, with a particular focus on Local Government. She was awarded the AMR Prize for Best Paper at the 5th International Congress on Public Accounting for her paper entitled “Factors Influencing the Usefulness of Financial Reporting Information in Portuguese Local Governments.
