António Duarte is a Professor at the Industrial Management Department of the School of Technology and Management at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança since 1997. He has a bachelor’s on Industrial Engineering and Management (University of Aveiro) and has a master’s in industrial engineering (University do Minho). He also has a PhD in Production Engineering (University of Minho). He teaches courses in the areas of Statistics, Operations Research, Production Management and Quality Management. His research interests are in Optimization (exact methods and heuristics for solving large combinatorial problems).
