Alcina Maria de Almeida R. Nunes

Alcina Nunes, PhD in Economics, is a member of the set-up committee of the Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Bem-Estar of Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (EHB-IPB), Portugal. She is a Coordinating Professor in Business and Social Sciences at the IPB and is an integrated member of the Applied Management Research Unit, UNIAG, funded by FCT. She was responsible for the IPB bachelor’s degree in International Business Management (European Degree), an integrated member of the Group of Monetary and Financial Studies of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra and a researcher at the Office of Strategy and Studies of the Ministry of Economy (Portugal)-Throughout her academic activity, she has collaborated with national and international higher education institutions, participated in research projects and published scientific articles in conference proceedings, indexed scientific journals and book chapters. She is a reviewer for several international journals and a member of the scientific committees of several conferences. Her research interest concerns the econometric evaluation of public policies (namely in the tourism sector, labour market and health), entrepreneurship and innovation and business demography.
