Fernanda Amélia Fernandes Ferreira

Fernanda A. Ferreira is a lecturer in mathematics and statistics in the Polytechnic of Porto (P.PORTO) since 1993, currently developing her professional activity as Senior Lecturer of the Information Systems and Mathematics Department at the School of Hospitality and Tourism (ESHT) of Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal. She holds a BS in Mathematics (in 1989), M.Sc. in Mathematics (in 2002), and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) (in 2007). She obtained also a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Statistics and Operations Research from Vigo University (in 2004). She is the President of the Pedagogical Council and Head of Information Systems and Mathematics Department. Member of the Technical-Scientific Council of ESHT since July 2017, she was a member of the Technical-Scientific Council of ESEIG since 2007 until its extinction in 2016, as well as the Pedagogical Council in 2009- 2013, 2015-2016. A researcher and coordinator of UNIAG, since 2013, her publications, more than 160, cover the research interest areas of industrial organization, game theory, hospitality management and tourism. She participated in 10 international and national R&D projects. She serves as a member of the Program Board and Organizing Committees for some Scientific Committees of International Conferences.
