I am a professor and associate researcher at the Federal University of Pernambuco. I supervise doctoral, master's, and undergraduate theses and work in an area that was formerly called informatics – due to its focus on business computing – and which is now recognized as information technology and its systems. My main research interests revolve around computer networks and their various socio-organizational applications, as well as decision-making and its support systems. My brief postdoctoral internship at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, funded by CNPq, will focus on the process of building and validating requirements for systems based on organizational memory.
