Teresa Maria Queiroz Veiga e Mendes

Teresa Maria Queiroz Veiga e Mendes has a Master’s in Tourism Management, by the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, School of Hospitality and Tourism (2021), and a degree in Art History (2004), at the University of Porto, Faculty of Arts, with an Erasmus Scholarship. She is currently a PhD student in Tourism at the University of Vigo, with a cotutelle in Heritage Studies at the University of Porto, since February 28, 2024. Teresa is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto and the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, as well as a training coordinator at the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Porto. She is also an Invited Researcher at the Center for Research, Development, and Innovation in Tourism in Coimbra and at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, in the Applied Management Research Unit. Teresa has published articles and book chapters in scientific journals. Her work focuses on the fields of Social Sciences, with an emphasis on Tourism, Management and Heritage Studies. Her main research focus is food tourism.
