Cândida Machado
                
                
                Cândida Sofia Machado holds a PhD in Economics, a master in Firm and Industrial Economics and a bachelor’s degree in Economics. She is a Professor at the School of Management of the Polytechnic University of Cávado and Ave (ESG/IPCA) with over 20 years of teaching experience in the field of Economics. She is the Head of the Master Degree Programme in Management at ESG/IPCA and a member of the Scientific Council of ESG/IPCA. Formerly, she was the Dean of the School of Management, President of the Pedagogical Council, Head of the Management Department and Coordinator of the Bachelor Degree Programmes in Management, Public Management, and Corporate Accounting. Her research interests focus on microeconomics, industrial organization and labor economics.
